american institute of aeronautics and astronautics
As the treasurer of our American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics University of Tennessee chapter, I have been responsible for managing financial transactions such as membership dues, sponsorships, and strategic budgeting for future chapter growth. Although I have been involved with AIAA since freshman year, it wasn’t until the Spring of 2023 that I began a leadership role.
Each year our student chapter participates in an industry trip where we visit surrounding aerospace companies to get a glimpse of what a future career in this industry could look like. I have been honored to help arrange the past two industry trips to Delta TechOps in Atlanta, GA and Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA. I coordinated logistics, applied for grants and funding, and arranged networking opportunities for our student organization.
Some additional involvement and activities is described below!

TAU BETA PI ENGINEERING HONOR SOCIETY
As the industry chair for the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society chapter at the University of Tennessee, I focus on building industry connections for networking and professional development opportunities. As Tau Beta Pi is an engineering honor society with student’s from every engineering major, I work to provide our chapter with a diverse range of company speakers at our monthly general body meetings. Through this, I have developed proper networking and documentation techniques to ensure a smooth and successful organizational event. This organization has not only bolstered my management skills, but has allowed me to participate in a fun environment of like-minded engineers.

HONORS STUDENT ENGAGEMENT COUNCIL
The Honors Student Engagement Council is a campus group that aims to offer engagement opportunities, support, and resources for Honors students at the University of Tennessee. As part of this group, I helped coordinate honors events, created presentations, and provided resources for Honors students through bulletin boards and Instagram. This was during my time in the 1794 Honors and Scholars program and my reflections on my time can be found below!
